Nestled in the rolling hills just south east of Bodmin Moor, it is 8 miles to the South Coast and 20 miles to the North, Wyndwhistle is the perfect base to explore Cornwall. A short drive either east or west will take you into the towns of Liskeard and Callington, with shopping, pubs, restaurant, Leisure facilities (including swimming pool).
Drive a little further to reach Plymouth for a proper day out city shopping, don't forget to visit the famous Plymouth Hoe and Barbican for food, historical attractions, take a tour of Plymouth Gin, stop at the Aquariaum and enjoy the stunning views.
Cornwall is awash with attractions. The Eden project is a short drive away, as are the fishing ports of Padstow, Looe, Port Issac (Doc Martin) and Castletown (Poldark).
The amount of history Cornwall has to share with its visitors is staggering.
Why not visit Merlins Caves at Tintagel Castle or visit the Cornish mines.. oh, and there are some stunning beaches too!!
